Spamming is not only intrusive and annoying, it's sending is also illegal in many Countries. I do all I can to deny spammers the opportunity to prey on and harass ordinary people who simply want to enjoy the Internet. Robots collect whole e-mail addresses from Websites, so I break mine up.

DISCLAIMER
Why a Disclaimer? Well, mainly it's
because I wish to inform and thus avoid the possibility of anyone
misconstruing what I am about.
Therefore, let me say that I am a hobbyist
first and foremost and do not make knives for a living.
I don't smelt
and forge
the blades I work with, so I'm not a bladesmith cum knife maker in the
fullest traditional sense. I do design my blades and mainly commission reputable bladesmiths
to make them for me to my design and specifications. Some of the
blades, such as those made from RWL-34 steel, are made from bar stock
and some, such as those made from 52100 Bearing Steel, are hand forged
from raw steel. Occasionally I
also obtain ready made quality blades in response to a particular request.
I build and finish my knives by my very
own hands and therefore, such knives are 'Handmade' by me. Where I take
a standard manufactured knife and alter it sufficiently to stand out
from the original, I then state that it's a 'Customised' knife. The same goes for the Sheaths. I make most
of my own sheaths, but sometimes I do use a ready made sheath if it's
good enough for the purpose - I'll always say which is which though. When I describe a knife
I take full responsibility for the aspects that I have full control of,
including the blade design and details. However, when it
comes to the actual blade material base specifications I rely on the
details as provided to me by my accredited bladesmiths, who I trust. I strive to source and
use only the best of materials and aim to make my knives to the highest
possible quality, aesthetically pleasing and fit for the purpose
intended. As I have no control as to how any knife I make is used, I
cannot offer an open ended guarantee. However, should any material part of my knives fail
I'll either repair or replace the knife at my expense. When ordering a knife
with horn, antler or wood handles etc., it is important to bear in mind that
natural materials vary and are nowhere as perfect in form or looks as synthetic materials.
Therefore, allowances have to be made for such variations and inherent minor faults that are
often part and
parcel of a unique knife's character make-up.
By acquiring one of my knives you are
entrusting me to do right by you. Trust is a two way fundamental principle that underpins
our relationship. I take great pride in what I do and will not
knowingly act in such a way as to renege on my responsibility to you.
'Doing the right thing' by genuine honest people has,
is and will always remain, a principle that I will uphold no matter what.
My ultimate aim is to make your knife
commissioning and owning experience as best as I can make it.
